Pork Barrel - Parkes, Canberra

Pork Barrell is a spacey cafe right next to Old Parliament House in the Parliamentary circle - it's a lovely location, surrounded by the National Rose Gardens and leafy trees and tends to be packed full of government works come lunch time.

Pork Barrel menu - they also have a blackboard full of daily specials

Pizzas blackboard.  Once you decide what you want, just go up to the counter, order and pay.  They also have a selection of takeaway items such as sandwiches etc

Pork Barrell is next to The Lobby restaurant

Atlantic trout with corn fritters, salsa and gaucamole - very delish!

Look delicious! I like the setting too. Trees always enhance my enjoyment of something.

Jaztee - It's a really nice setting. Especially with the big leafy trees and rose gardens.
